The number of people that lent us their talents
for this film is staggering. From NME
journalists to American radio DJ's, with all stops
inbetween. From the physical side of actually
making the film to those cleverest of people
who know how to coax the best anecdotes from
the camera's victim. There were times we had so many people running around like blue arsed flies for this film, that it felt like a full scale military manoeuvre. And sat slap in the centre of this almighty chaos was Smith - the poor man who would be responsible for turning all this into entertainment. It wasn't all high blood pressure though. 'Welcome To The Cheap Seats' contains some Of the highest points of The Wonder Stuff's 6 year life-span. Bescot Stadium in Walsall, June 22nd 1991, onstage and offstage. Part of our European tour with Carter USM and Nine Inch Nails, check 'Donation' from Paris August 1991. A promotional trip to the USA that Gilks and I made in July 1991.

There's actually too much to attempt to
document here and now. And the point of
making such a film is that it explains itself and
it's not in need of an operators manual. We had a great time with Simon Smith and his Far Out Film Company, I think it shows. If you haven't seen the film already and assuming that as you are reading a copy of LAMBAST you are a Wonder Stuff fan, I think you'd get a kick out of 'Welcome To The Cheap Seats.' Drop us a line and let us know what you make of it. THANKS........
