Those who know the song probably know that during the different riffs, the strings are bent, pulled or whatever to get the right sound (then again, those who know the song probably aren't reading this!). I'm not sure which is right, but the first riff can also be played like this (with the others following the same fret patterns): e- -15 -15 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - B- - - - - - - -15 -13 -15 -13 - - - - - - - - - - G- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 12 - - - - - - - D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - E- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - on live versions, it sounds like Malc slides down from 15 to 10.
