From: pcorbett@voyager.newcomm.net (Philip M. Am G (x3) under riff 1 and ending on Am Riff found throughout the song: e- - 5 - 4 - 5 - 4 - 5 - 4 - 5/0 - 0 - 0 - - - B- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - G - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Riff over Chorus: e- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - B- -3 -1 - - - - - -3 -1- - - - - - - - - - - G- - - - - -4 -2 - - - - - - 0 -2 -2 -2- - D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - These chords seem right to me. On one guitar it sounds O.K. to play at "and a place to get fed" the Am with the G string open, then covering at the second fret, completing the chord--that is from (002010) to (002210). For the e string riff it also sounds good at times to begin the riff by sliding up to the 5th fret (but that's just my opinion).
